✍ Biography

    Jiancheng Chi received his B.Eng. degree in 2017 from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, and his M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in 2020 and 2025, respectively, from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Software, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China. From June 2023 to May 2024, he is a visiting scholar at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Japan. His research interests include the industrial Internet of Things, industrial big data, edge computing, and machine learning. He has published several papers in top journals, such as IEEE Communications Surveys&Tutorials (IF=50.6,Citation 1100+), IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (CCF-A), ACM Ubicomp (CCF-A), Journal of Computer and System Sciences (CCF-B), ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks (CCF-B), Journal of Network and Computer Applications, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Network, and IEEE IWQoS (CCF-B). He is a reviewer for several top journals, including IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Robotics, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering. He served as chair and program committee member for international and domestic academic conferences such as SmartIoT, CNETCNED, and MSN. He has won many scholarships at Tianjin University, including the Chinese Government-sponsored Study Abroad Scholarship, the First-class Academic Scholarship, the Lenovo Scholarship, and the Outstanding Youth Scholarship. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
